See us at the Fair!

Once again the NCRCD will be at the fair and we'll be joined by our partners in Ag, the NRCS (USDA), Sierra Harvest and the Nevada County Ag Commissioner's Office.

We'll have lots of information, presentations and useful and educational handouts for you and the kiddos too! Plus, when you answer conservation questions you can pick up a deck of our new NCRCD conservation playing cards, a beautiful educational poster, a hand fan, and much more!  

 

NCRCD Ag-Talks at the Fair in the Family Farm Area!

Charlie McIntosh will be presenting three talks this year. Please come join him and get your questions answered. All talks begin at 3:30 PM. Here are the topics he'll be covering:

Wednesday: Hedgerows: An Oasis for Pollinators, Beneficial Insects, & Wildlife

Thursday: Cover Crops: What to Plant this Fall

Friday: Noxious & Invasive Plants: A Few of the Common Characters
