Nevada County RCD offers a free prescribed fire education program to the community. We provide a variety of courses and hands-on workshops on the basics of prescribed burning. The idea is that you can learn to burn legally, safely, responsibly in a way that is improves fire safety and restores ecosystems.

The purpose of the Advisory Program is to provide contact with landowners who are interested in natural resources management on their property.
