Thank you in your interest in hosting a prescribed fire workshop! You've been recognized as a landowner who has attended our workshops and/or has been working hard to prepare your property for good fire. 

Any live fire activity (pile burning & broadcast burning) at a workshop will require environmental compliance  work to be done by the NCRCD.  NCRCD will be submitting a programmatic burn plan that includes the selected interested hosts' properties for our CEQA filing. This requires, at minimum, an archeological database search and wildlife surveys, all to be done within the burn unit and mitigation plans for anything found (excluding/protecting the area from fire). This will not be at the expense of the landowner.
