Annual Farm Day

September 21, 2017, marked Nevada County Ag in the Classroom's 3rd Annual Farm Day at the Nevada County Fairgrounds! With the support of the Nevada County Fairgrounds CEO & staff, Nevada County Farm Bureauand Bear River & Nevada Union FFA students, this event hosted approximately 695 2nd and 3rd grade students and their teachers and chaperones from 13 different local schools for a day of fun hands-on experiences where lessons of agriculture are taught in the context of local farms and ranches.
